Lakiesha Y. Harris, MBA, ACC, is an associate certified coach, speaker, and an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner, who specializes in partnering with professionals to assist them with obtaining P.E.A.C.E. within their professional and personal lives. Lakiesha is a graduate of Auburn University Montgomery with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and a graduate of Troy State University Montgomery with a Master of Business Administration degree. Lakiesha also completed the Certified Financial Planners Program at Queens University, Charlotte where she obtained an in-depth knowledge related to Financial Planning.
With over 20 years of combined experience in the Corporate and Federal Government, Lakiesha has served in various roles from an Accountant to Senior Management. As a result of her various roles, she gained expertise in group management, organizational development, project management, financial statement analysis, program reviews, internal control reviews, process enhancements, and leadership development. Lakiesha’s life, community, and work experiences motivated and challenged her to seek more and come to a place of authenticity, peace, and fulfillment of her passion and purpose. This strong desire to live purposefully, lead her to the decision to enroll in one of the premier International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited coach training programs in the country, The Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC).
Lakiesha currently serves as a Supervisor in the Human Capital Office and Career and Leadership Development Coach within Internal Revenue Service (IRS) where she partners with Managers and aspiring leaders to enhance their leadership skills and to further their career growth and personal lives. As a coach at IRS, she also leverages the IRS Leadership Competency Model and clients’ Leadership Succession Readiness assessment to assist them in identifying areas they may want to improve to assist them in becoming ready for management. In addition to serving as a Career and Leadership Coach at IRS, Lakiesha also partners with aspiring leaders throughout the federal government through the Federal Government Coaching Cadre to assist clients in determining their career path and on their leadership journey.
